Blogging can be a way of life and has become a good source of income for those that have learned to use this medium of communication to their advantage. There are of course a lot of things to consider when you start your blog. Especially if you are striving to create a blog that will generate some sort of income for you.
One of the first things you will want to consider is what type of blogging platform you will want to use. Two of biggest hitters on the blogging block of course are Blogger and WordPress. Both of which have their advantages but if you are really serious look into a stand alone program meaning one that you can host and have control over it yourself.
The next thing you will want to do after you decide your blogging platform is writing your content and learning a writing style that works for you. Original content is king and the search engines can sniff the difference between original and not so original from a gigabyte away. So if you take any tips away from this article take that one. Make your stuff original it will carry your blog a long way to succeeding.
Some other things to consider when planning out your blog is the layout of the page and the format your html coding will be. This can become quite daunting to most as the different internet langauages can pile up quickly. From html to css to java there is alot that goes on behind the scenes of those websites and blogs out there. It’s those people that take the time to learn some of the basics of all those languages that can really push their blogs to the next level of success with some certainty. A good place to start for that would be W3.org.
There is another alternative if you don’t want to deal with all that blogging stuff. Either you have not the time or the willingness to learn all that goes into running a successful blog. Blogging Networks are starting to gain popularity in the blogosphere. The good ones have done all the hardwork for you tending to the layouts templates linking schemes and compliant coding to make the whole blog network run super smooth. All you have to do is post your content with your links embedded in your blog posts and presto! You are driving traffic links and page rankings up up up. The sky is the limit when it comes to blogging.
