How can you increase your conversion rate and make more money from your hard won visitors? Every visitor to your website is a potential customers and you have to find a way to make visitors spend their money with you. How can you increase the rate at which visitors convert into customers?
You could add additional streams of income. New affiliate links or advertising on your web pages would probably result in an increase in revenue but how would you know which links or adverts had worked and which hadn’t?
Can you scientifically determine a method to increase the rate at which visitors convert into subscribers on your landing page or squeeze page? The answer is to experiment. Test everything you do discover what works best and use that more often. What you need is some statistics!
The most important decision you can take is what form of words to use on your squeeze page or sales page. You need to create a number of different pages and test the rates at which the different pages convert visitors into subscribers or subscribers into customers. Most autoresponder systems have a way for you to identify which opt in box subscribers have come from. So by putting different opt in boxes on your different squeeze pages and driving traffic to them you can discover which pages are the most effective at converting visitors into subscribers. You can use the same testing techniques to trial different sales pages and different emails that you send to your subscriber list. Google for Tracking to find code that you add to your pages that will tell you how your visitors behave when they surf your pages. There is always room for improvement and the more you test and the more combinations of words graphics and sales copy you employ the more likely you are to discover a winning formula that pushes all the right buy buttons and changes visitors into subscribers then subscribers into customers.
If you don’t have a subscriber list you need to find out how to get one! Once you have a list you need to take the steps necessary to monetise that list. Once you have begun to monetise that list you have to discover how to be more effective so that more of your subscribers are spending money with you.
