One of the best things you can ever have in Internet marketing is a captive audience to market to. That may sound a little extreme but its perfectly doable. Do it right by providing value for your captives and theyll make you rich while you make them happy. Here are the three best ways go about it.
Lists. An email list is still considered by many to be the ultimate system for making money online. Why?
For one thing your marketing message is delivered directly to your prospects. You dont have to worry about SEO for an email message. You dont have to sit back and hope qualified prospects will stumble across your latest sales page or blog. An email list is effectively a captive audience!
Studies have shown that a person needs to see a marketing message an average of seven times before acting on it. Your prospects will get your marketing message as often as you want to send them although any more than one message a day might get you deleted.
Blogs. Google really likes them because they are updated so frequently. It also likes them because more often than not theyre made by everyday users of the Internet Google doesnt trust Internet marketers as much as it should and sometimes works against us. But blogs are still mostly run by the average Tom and are more likely to gain search engine trust than a fancy sales page.
You can use a good blog to interest people in joining your email list. You can also use a blog in ways similar to an email list by encouraging readers to subscribe to your RSS feed. This is a tool that allows all of your posts to show up automatically in your prospects RSS feed readers. A captive audience once again!
Membership sites. Membership sites rank right next to email lists when it comes to making money in Internet marketing. Thousands of people pay ten dollars twenty dollars and even higherdollar fees to learn about and/or gain guidance about their niche.
How can you start a membership site? You can use PHPBB to make a membersonly forum site. Or you can use Word Press to make a membersonly instructional blog.
There are several other scripts you can use for memberships sites as well. You can make a membership site with stepbystep plans and videos. Or you can make one where paid subscribers get new instructions or information every day in their inbox. You can even make a limited membersonly site where you create a mastermind group to guide your subscribers to success in their chosen fieldsyoud just better know a thing or two about the niche before you do!
There are plenty of other ways to build a captive audience but these three are the best. Pick one of them work hard at it and watch your passive income from Internet marketing soar.
